Lukaku. Yes or no

He’s living in your head rent-free.

He moved from us to Man Utd and we got in excess of 70mil for the transfer. He’s also our top Premier League goalscorer. I’m happy for players to use us as a stepping stone if we get the output that we got from Rom.
"He" isn't. This highlights my point about fanboys....... I am bothered about Everton and see things that get in the way of Everton as an issue. In this case it's the Lukaku FC fans.

Fans of our club are still bleating on about a player who won't cast us a second thought. Proper fanboys who you usually see plaguing Messi or Ronaldo social media posts like "R7 is the goat". ...... "Messi the goat"..... Absolutely pathetic v

I'm not bothered about him, I'm more bothered that we have fans who who are fixated on an ex player who won us nothing.

Paul Rideout, Graham Stuart...... I can understand fans holding them in high regard, they done more for this club than Lukaku but little of them is mentioned.

Yes you are

Yes you are

I'm actually not ..... Think about it,. You are. You are part of the sad problem plaguing our club where you can't identify that success is winning trophies - and success is not having a Lukaku or James bother themselves to play for us.

Too many of our fans are like autograph hunters. I hero worship the collective, not individuals. Which is why I find it very easy to get over Ancellotti and fully support Rafael

I know I am. I'm not denying it. I care about how he does.

I’m even more convinced that you are, after reading that reply.

What big moments does he step up in? They are the same level of striker, great but nowhere near Mbappe/Haaland/Ronaldo/Benzema, the strikers that will actually win you trophies. Lukaku has played one decent team this season and Van Djik/ Matip made him look average.
It doesn't seem like you paid attention to his time at Inter and especially last season so instead of answering that I'm going to direct you to this helpful website: google.com

No you just read my reply ...... You don't understand it and why you are part of the issue.

You fell in love with a footballer when your love for the club should be far greater. You struggle to disconnect with him despite him being very eager to disconnect from us.

There were young lads gutted and almost finding Arsenal impossible not to support when Alan Ball was sold. I actually understood that...... 1. He was a genuinely world class footballer. 2. He won us trophies 3. He loved Everton. 4. He never
wanted to leave us.
