For me Stones and Barkley will be the best defender and midfielder in england. Mccarthy is a trojan and will keep improving and lukaku could be world class.

In 5/6 years, if Stones, Barkley, McCarthy or Lukaku are anywhere near world class they wont be playing at Everton.

Doesn't really prove your point or disprove mine that one mate. For a lad his size, he really doesn't impose himself on a defence (bar Hull away) and you've found one goal out of 15 or so where he doesn't score within the first few touches (bar City away). I will reiterate, I obviously do want him here and obviously no player is perfect at 21, but I worry that our record signing if he comes isnt going to be the rip-roaring success some seem convinced he has to be.

John Stones and Ross Barkley still have flaws.
McCarthy needs to possibly expand his game to be even mentioned in the same breath as Roy Keane

He's like a glorified Yakubu but a 20 year old one, the lad can finish no doubt about it. Feed him the ball in the box and he'll put it away. Anything under 20M is a steal, anything over is probably not worth the risk considering our summer budget wont be much more than 20M without sales.

Yakubu is only 22 though lad.
