Apologies if my post appears that way. I just struggle to grasp the logic in saying lukaku isn't worth the risk at 20million but basing an 8-10mill bid on a player after two substitute appearances is a better bet. Especially when Origi has never played in the premier league nevermind for Everton.

I'd also say the lack of importance placed on the goals lukaku scored for us this season is rather short sighted. Technically he's not the best player but has a 1 in 2 record in the prem and has a knack of scoring goals for us.

Whatever happens it'll be interesting to see who we pick up. The best thing for all parties logically would be a loan for lukaku. Even then, if he starts fulfilling his potential it just means Chelsea get their man back firing on all cylinders and we are left looking round for a striker again.

i agree that lukaku has a bad WC and origi looks better at the moment
thats only because origi comes in when their defenders are tired
if origi would start and lukaku gets tired defenders imagine what he would do to them
at the moment i don't mind he's playing bad, that means his price go's down
 

Despite him being rubbish so far I can't help but feel like he's going to score a massive goal at some point and his value will sky rocket because of it!
 

His price isn't going up that's for sure. Good news. After arshavin I'm wary of inflated fees for any player that has a great WC.
 
Lukaku didn't even get a run out tonight. Origi looked brilliant though.. again.

I'll be honest, I would be chuffed to bits if we sign either one of those Belgian strikers. I think all of us would.
