It's be somewhere along the lines of:

Right now at this very second I'm 79.12345onceIcaughtAfishAlive% cerain that Mr Lukaku will be an Everton player sooner rather than later.

But it has to said that percentage has gone down a fair bit last few days.
 
We just didn't want to pay his wages until August so Jose is keeping him for a few more weeks to do us a solid.

Seems plausible.

If you assume transfer windows are designed primarily to enrage Evertonians (and there is a lot of evidence supporting that theory) then the whole "we won't make a decision for two weeks thing" is just perfect.

wouldn't say your record was that great in the 90's tbh mate. You once had a bollocks stadium, that's now been tidied up a bit and history wise you really didn't register with any club worth anything pre Russian Takeover. In fact ask any Football supporter what they think of Chelsea before you got took over and you will get -

In a way your a bit like City to me, you can have all the millions and buy your way to success and I am not arsed by that but in my eyes as a Football club you can only dream of having a history like ours and so I would never look at the likes of Chelsea/City and put you in the same breath as us when talking about top British clubs. All the best for the upcoming season though mate, looking forward to having you early doors in the season.

I'm not happy about these reports of Torres going back to Atletico, that would really put the kibosh on us getting big Rom as I could see Mourinho wanting Costa as his main man, with Drogba/Lukaku as his back ups.
Surely lady boy would have to take a massive, MASSIVE pay cut though? I've read 'the secret footballer' books so I'm not convinced he'd walk away from his London life and a 175k p/w wage just to hear fans chant his name.

Chelsea will offer to pay some of his wages to get rid, honestly, Jose knows hes pony.
