Perhaps they are trying to bring in a replacement striker and don't want to announce Lukaku until they have that at settled at least in principle.

We're in for him. A deal has been agreed in principal with Chelsea, and it's up to Rom and the club to do a deal. I don't know what stage those proceedings are at, but in roms own words, there's an "opportunity" to join us.

It's shocking. Liverpool and '86 is sickening. I was 8-years-old at the time, soon to be 9. It might sound strange, but it was the cup final, rather than the league that bothered me most. You know, it was a Merseyside derby FA Cup final.... It was huge!

Well him ringing up sky sports and saying how much of a disgrace our bid was. Then having sky bang on about us putting in a disgraceful bid and when we got him they banged on about how we had submitted to Dave the master tactician. I found that very embarrassing for my football club.

We did get over the odds for felliani but only after he put in a transfer request and man u where bottling it not getting anyone would hardly call it a masterstroke like. Was only 3 mil more then his buy out clause tbf.
