The gaffer sounded positive about him on TS this morning.

Bigging up the relationship "Rom" had with the players, staff and fans at Everton, but then saying he didn't want to be disrespectful as he was another clubs player. It was like listening to a smooth version of melted cheese face, all that was missing was a car window and 'triffic player'

I think youre desperately trying to find another way of knocking the club you...er...support. Bill played United and Moyes and made them look amateurs. Whatever people say about BK, one thing is assured, he is a tough, hard nosed negotiator...this can sometimes work to our disadvantage, but most of the time the deals that we do are in our favour. Dave Whelan is also a tough old sod, but we got a very good player in Mccarthy, and could probably double our money in a year or so if we felt like...Kone was injured and needs to be given a decent chance, and we would make a profit on Robles if he moved on.

In fairness to Kenwright he has got some decent prices for players over the years, but he was had off big time over the Rooney deal. Seems he learned a bit from that deal.

Without turning this into another board thrashing, but Wayne Rooney? Not one of his finest moments. Sniveling on the phone to Ferguson and getting his mum to tell him to stop being mean.

...and yet he's constantly criticised for being 'an actor' ? The Rooney deal was how many years ago? The money in the Prem has doubled since then! The 'real' Bill K is the tough negotiator..believe me..he's well known for this, in football as well as in his actual job. If he was chairman of the RS, theres about 20 players who would not have been bought, no matter how much money was in the pot. And as I said, sometimes being that tough can be a disadvantage...but not often.

Hey I'm not looking for an argument on the subject mate, you've got your views and I'm never going to change that, agree to disagree, but that was one monumental f up in all honesty. We were robbed and subsequently publicly humiliated.

Anyways, Lukaku will sign in the next few days etc.
 
Wouldn't suprise me if Chelsea offload Torres AND Lukaku.

Bring in Drogba and Cavani. Torres's wages will be astronomical for what he contributes.
