I can't see how they offload Torres without having to pay him an absolute fortune as a golden handshake. As the beaut is on over £250k per week ffs.
The drawback of being a rich club. You lure players in with ridiculously high wages and when you want to sell them, no other team can afford to pay similar wages so you're stuck with them unless the players themselves reduce their wage... and not many merchants... er, I ment players, would do that when it was the lure of the wage that drew them in the first place.

They gave him a massive contract length to boot, so he's got another 3 years left. He's not going anywhere imo.

That's not true mate his on 175k same as hazard and he has got only 2years left on his contract cause he signed same time as David luiz

Yep just £18 mil left to pay in wages for the remainder of his contract, they really will struggle to off load him, nobody will cover that given how pants he has been at Chealsea.

Torres was broken by fat Rafael, when he was totally reliant on him and he kept patching him up and sending him out. He's lost the explosive burst of pace he once had and his head's gone to boot. He gives the impression he doesn't enjoy the game anymore.

I think youre desperately trying to find another way of knocking the club you...er...support. Bill played United and Moyes and made them look amateurs. Whatever people say about BK, one thing is assured, he is a tough, hard nosed negotiator...this can sometimes work to our disadvantage, but most of the time the deals that we do are in our favour. Dave Whelan is also a tough old sod, but we got a very good player in Mccarthy, and could probably double our money in a year or so if we felt like...Kone was injured and needs to be given a decent chance, and we would make a profit on Robles if he moved on.

Cheers for getting involved and getting the wrong end of the stick.

The way i see u alot of people thourght felliani ' s 24mil buyout was to low considering how much we would have to go to standard. So why is getting 3mil more such a masterstroke? Retrospectively it was good business of course but it was just down to United being rejected by everyone and being desperate. But if you think being made a laughing stock on live TV by the chairman of wigan is something your okay with then I question your loyalty to the club you...er...support.

I've never been fussed about Lukaku. He's overrated, lazy and for somebody reportedly worth £24m, doesn't remotely score enough goals (on average he scores one for every two games we play).

On top of that, we're a club you play for for loyalty, not money. The first sign Lukaku gets for a higher paycheck he'll be off elsewhere in my opinion.

I'm open to people telling me why I'm wrong - I want to get excited about him, I just don't seem to be able to.

Please show me evidence of this 'laughing stock' situation re BK? This forum has continually made a laughing stock of Dave Whelan with its contiuous 'jokes' at the expense of his broken leg suffered in an FA Cup Final. Something which contary to the beliefs of many on here, Dave Whelan never mentions. The consensus on here last summer was that BK had played a blinder in the transfer window, but there are always some who have an agenda not to give him any credit at all, unless it harms their reputation as the poor little platoon fighting against the devil that is Bill Kenwright. Loyalty to the club? First game around 1948...thats 66 years as an Evertonian. I think thats pretty loyal.;)

You won't get a 21 year old with a goal in every 2 games in the Premier League for anything near that price normally, Martinez is a fan of his, even if he is sold on, it will be at a large profit, he seems to get Everton and has a good relationship with Mirralas, he's the kind of player who will single handily raise Evertons global profile. He's a winner.

Maybe if everyone starts posting stuff like this Chelsea will see it and not want him anymore! Love your strategy mate
