O'Rigi is just a poor Sturridge back-up. Rome LK is the better option.

He will become the best young striker in Europe when he becomes a Liverpool player, can see it already, to be fair Lukaku will use this to wind himself up and show the rs who the best young striker in Europe.

At Origi's age Lukaku was banging them in for a laugh. I genuinely cant see Origi getting close to the level of Lukaku.

Not sure that can be overly used as a barometer - lots of kids and big kids are overly developed for their age - their potential isn't unlimited. For example not sure what Suarez was doing at 18-19. Lots of young players don't continue to progress beyond 24-25 when they break through so early i.e. the likes of Rooney and Owen maybe. Notable exceptions being probably Gerrard, whose game needed experience and tactical knowledge to improve - but for Strikers not many examples of wonderkids getting better and better and better. Maybe Alan Shearer?

Not using that as a fact btw - just my limited knowledge of those players and cant be arsed to research it either

Like.said b4 Origi is only going downhil now, sam allerdyce will b sniffing him out in couple.years! i never rate players on world cup performances but that perisic u really can tell that he would fit in to our system perfectly but prob is for 1 we wouldnt have cash after lukaku + if we do pip them 2 his signing then no chance they would then hand over 1 of there best players!

I'm not talking about the next 10 years, I'm saying that the rs are talking crap as they are saying Origi is better then Lukaku now, which is a joke. Origi is a massive gamble as he only scored 8 goals in 46 games for Lille, an easy league then the premiership. Suarez was scoring for his team at the age of 18/19 as well. Rooney is still going strong as he on 250k a week, which wonderkids are you talking about who didn't make it? players like Rooney and Lukaku are rare, they don't come along often.

Hmmm

EVERTON AGREE TWO LUKAKU DEALS

Everton have agreed two different deals with Chelsea for the potential signing of Romelu Lukaku, Goal understands.

Lukaku is keen to return to Goodison Park on a permanent basis after a successful loan spell and the Toffees have prepared a deal worth around €25 million to sign the Belgium international.

But Chelsea and Blues boss Jose Mourinho are yet to decide whether or not to let Lukaku leave Stamford Bridge permanently this summer.

The striker could instead find himself on loan to Everton for a second season - his third consecutive campaign with another club since moving to Stamford Bridge after spending 2012-13 with West Brom.

Despite Lukaku scoring more than 25 goals over the last two seasons, Mourinho has made two significant signings to bolster his attacking options this summer.

Diego Costa has moved to Chelsea from La Liga champions Atletico Madrid, while Didier Drogba has returned to the club to reunite with Mourinho.

Goal.com though. And talk about hedging your bets.

They really have outdone themselves this time.

In future I exoect them to write two articles on every player transfer/nontransfer.

Stating that the player will be sold.

The player will be kept.

That way Goal.com will always be right. Genius.

If we loaned him then all we would be doing is increasing his fee again for next year when we will undoubtably be trying to sign him again.

1. It's a very big club
2. In Europe
3. Realistically, a better chance of getting in CL next year than us due to quality of opposition
4. Big wages
5. Want to build a young team and he would be the main man
6. Mates with De Bruyne(?)/star duo

that's just off the top of my head

4 of those points are easily applicable to Everton as well, and if he signs he'd be a top earner. But people shouldn't discount Wolfsburg as mediocre euro-trash. They are re-building a very good side (potentially) just like us, but, unlike us, happen to have one of the biggest companies in the world backing them!

If I have to quote the pound to euro exchange rate (1.27) one more time my knees will explode.

Our wages are bigger. 25% bigger automatically. Before Wolfsbourg can make parity they have to pay him more.

Our coin is worth more right now than Wolfsburg. Alot more.

It really is nonsense. The only attraction Wolfsbourg have is Champions League.

But then again the Premier league is far more high profile than blundersleague.

Unless you're talking about Bayern.
