The slots in Southend he found down behind the sofa mate.
But i do reckon this a defining moment in Bills standing with Evertonians as whole...
I think he will do the right thing.

Once Everton Has Touched You!........... I know the Belgium blaster feels our love, so do it Bill........... The lad just terrifies defenses..

He,s our new Big Dunc FFS!!!

Exactly this, was going to post the same thing.

Barkley and Stones are 2/3 of an outfield spine, lukaku signing would give us the best young spine in europe.

Just need a top centre mid to slot in next to mccarthy and we look very strong.

I just said the same in the 'youth / John Stones development' topic.

We need to go all out for Lukaku. Everyone knows he'll be an absolute star. Pretty much guaranteed at least 15 goals a season for many years to come.

We need quality more than quantity in my opinion. I know we have extra games due to europe but we can supplement the squad by giving youth more experience and hopefully we'll be less unlucky with injuries next season.

Lukaku is a must but we cant blow our whole transfer budget on him, we can only spend at least 60% of our transfer budget on him.

think you mean most ;)
I would be happy if we got him in anywhere from 20/25 million. How much of the budget that will take up I have no idea. I seriously doubt we'll get him for any less than that.. Him, an attacking mid/winger for 10mil and Barry on perms would do me, all the other places could be covered by loans.

I'd happily have us spend £20m-£25m on him - even if that only left us with £10m to bring in other players.

Kone back, Gibson back, Oviedo back. We need to be lucky with injuries, rely on some creative work in the transfer and loan market and possibly rely on youth but i'd rather hope for that than have a squad full of 'average' players who will bulk up the squad but never get us to the heights we want to be aiming at.

I've gotten used to seeing a 'proper' striker at goodison for the first time in years and i want that to continue for as long as possible.

Importantly... Lukaku will have guaranteed resale value. I hate judging a player on this but I'm making an exception such is the certainty with which I'm sure we would make money on him

I think this is key. It's not dead money like many players (kone) it's an investment with lakaku. Baring a career ending injury he will hold his value and in the
invent he wanted to move on in a couple of years we'd make money on him!

He'll stall at Chelsea being No.2 to Costa, I think Jose will keep Torres too, so in the big games when Jose wants experience he'll probably be behind Torres too...

Get your bags packed Rom, your better off here. Wouldn't suprise me to see Chelsea wanting to sell to us with a buy back clause.
