Why doesn't he hold the ball up by shielding with his back to it and using gravity and strength to dig into the ground, hold onto the ball.. then pick a pass. Why always a snap decision lay off back to midfield or sometimes defence! Or often the opponent!

I'd like to see another striker with nearly 200 first team appearances (including 72 Prem games and 32 internationals) who can disguise a pass as a heavy first touch and a heavy first touch as a pass as well as Lukaku.

Maybe he needs to lose some weight? I don't know but he is looking very clumsy, heavy legged, and slow... Almost looks like he cant be bothered to move his legs.

I honestly don't know what has changed from last year! it wasn't blatantly obvious that he was an appalling footballer last year but this year he's absolutely stinking the place out.

He did a couple of good things but by no means a good performance

Cant play two games a week.

He couldn't play a full 90 last year so can't see him stepping up just year.. I think west brick used him best as a super sub.

And no disrespect to the lad, he keeps on talking about watching videos and studying players, but doesn't seem like he uses any of that information on the field ever.
