Lukaku's Everton Frustration

"Sometimes I speak to Vincent Kompany, who was at Manchester City when it all happened. He said, 'Rom, one summer I just came in and boom, boom, boom… Robinho from there, this guy came in, this guy came in'.

Everyone was criticising them but, at the end, there are two league titles, FA Cup here, League Cups there. That is what we want as players."

Romelu Lukaku

I find the comment about our tactics in big games interesting, get the feeling he was unimpressed with our tactics against spurs.

I just wanted GOT to be get better. I've been here for years and we're still talking about 2009 and how good it was. I'm ambitious, I want it to be great now. I don't know what @GrandOldTeam's plans are.

I think some posters will agree with you, and some will boo you on your jarg team selection at 2pm in the match thread. Me you ask? I will go with the winner and claim I was with them all along. That's how I cha cha cha (clicks fingers)

Seriously though: how does the club respond. There is a lot of (reasonable) trash talking about the club and it's apparent lack of ambition. Still think Ron should grimace and bear it. And Everton can secure him if they make a big name purchase. Win-win. He doesn't sound to me someone who has entirely made up his mind. As mad as that may sound. People who are leaving don't sound that frustrated.

You tell em ROM. Let's have the signings. BIG ONES.

I am going to surmise that buying Bolasie, loaning Valencia and then sending the possible assist machine Del out on loan have probably not helped to give a positive impression to our top class striker of a supposedly ambitious new regime. Two transfer windows and we were left with a threadbare attack.

He'd have a trophy if he didn't botch the semi final for us. Never his fault though us it. Go and play at a team where you just tap in the 4th mate and they pick the trophy up for you.

Yeah because it was Man U vs Romelu weren't it. All his fault we didn't win the fa cup

We've finished 13th or lower in nearly half the Premier League seasons.

Yes, but as far as I can recollect we were never really involved in the relegation dogfight except for a couple occasions.

We finished very low in one of Moyes's early seasons but that wax due to a horrendous run after we were vitually safe and dropped down the table alarmingly but the three relegated teams needed snookers to catch us.

When you put it like that...:pint2:
