Seriously though: how does the club respond. There is a lot of (reasonable) trash talking about the club and it's apparent lack of ambition. Still think Ron should grimace and bear it. And Everton can secure him if they make a big name purchase. Win-win. He doesn't sound to me someone who has entirely made up his mind. As mad as that may sound. Yes, but as far as I can recollect we were never really involved in the relegation dogfight except for a couple occasions.
We finished very low in one of Moyes's early seasons but that wax due to a horrendous run after we were vitually safe and dropped down the table alarmingly but the three relegated teams needed snookers to catch us.
