Well you could condone it based on it being factually correct.
That's not the issue though. He's made these comments at this moment for a very specific reason.
Raiola tried to pressure the board into concessions by going public with the contract situation. Rom wanted the security blanket of one more season on increased wages in case the bigger clubs had no interest in him this summer for his price tag, and with a release clause involved. I believe Everton haven't wanted a release clause as low as Raiola/Lukaku did, so Raiola has leaked the news that the contract is a no-go, and wheeled out Lukaku to denigrate the club for not meeting his ambitions.
I'm '99.9999%' sure that's the case. And usually I'd say it's fantastic agent work and the player should be happy his man is doing his job.
However, if Moshiri is astute and has the money he says he does to invest, then do something that would be more valuable to our long term ambitions than spending £100m on a player in the summer - bin Lukaku to the reserves, set the asking price and not a penny under, and be prepared to let him sit out the rest of his contract.
See who blinks first.
Ha, a worse online rag I've yet to find. The only issue I have with Lukaku is i was forced to click on a link from that rag called the Liverpool Fc echo. Don't know about how you all feel but I think that paper should be banned from this site.In fact I demand it.
The so-so one at Inter?BTW hes defo talking about Gabigoal when he says we didnt sign them.

He's already questioned it, I assume he'll agree. We all agree or should agree we have done poor in the last two windows. Well incomings at least. Even the two players we brought in seem to take a age to sign. Kenwright acts as if it's his own money we are spending.
We have been lucky Lukaku didn't get injured this season. Not bringing in backup was surprising. We need a massive summer. I'm looking forward to what koeman has to say tomorrow when he is asked about the clubs ambition
In fairness, we've been a laughing stock for almost 30 years. No money, one trophy, a substandard stadium and more relegation dogfights than you can shake a stick at.
To be honest, I only ever felt in serious relegation trouble twice.....in '94 and again in '98
