Outstanding for the England under 21s -RM better encourage him to stay as a Tribunial will set the price with clubs interested- this is down to our oldies getting too long paid contracts -eg Tony Hibbert- Tim Howard - Leon Osman- Distan - Barry- and Alcaraz plus Kone!

I love how Luke played few games this season but to improve he needs more games. Now it s hard to take place of one of the best fullbacks in world , so what is the solution . 40 points mark and then let him play all games , loan him half of season. For young players is best to play all the time. If u just look at Stones that is clear.

Not looking good, this one.

He wants games and rightly so. We aren't willing to drop Baines for him.

Liverpool want him as backup to Moreno with a view to displacing him in a couple of years.

Spurs, on the other hand, want him too and will almost guarantee him a starting spot because they don't have a good left back.

Hell, I've even heard City are looking at him as a possible English replacement for Kolarov and Clichy in the next couple of years.

If we want to keep him, he wants a guarantee on his playing time. Can we give him that? I would like to think so, but I doubt it. He was offered a contract, it still hasn't been signed. Does look like he's off.

Yes I reiterate if we had not given over inflated contracts to our older players we would have been in a better position to offer him a good wage and use him more - for instance we have been crying out for a left sided player why not use Baines as left midfield and Garbutt at left back for the rest of the season?
