Really don't see the issue. We have the best left back in the prem, and an excellent understudy in Oviedo.

Are people suggesting we kick them 2 out?!?

Nah, Ive said it many times...it comes down to the question if he is a Blue. Im absolutely sure Martinez wants to keep him but if the kid wants to take the easy train then go ahead and jog on Luke lad.

Oviedo isn't as good as people think and Baines isn't getting any younger.

Seems a waste to let him walk away.

Oviedo is boss. I think defensively he's our best left back. The other two have hot more going forward but I've no problem letting Garbutt go to keep Oviedo. One actually wants to stay and fight for a place, the other barely wants to play for Everton.

In the Martinez interview, you get the sense a going player leaving, and it was a relief to see garbutt name, I'm more worried it could be Barkley, stones, lukaku, McCarthy. Martinez talks about losing good players and becoming stronger of it. I have a bad feeling.

Very poor from the club. We fight to get him from Leeds, develop him for a few years and then when he's ready for the first team we let him walk away for nothing.

They have offered him a contract. Do you expect them to lock him up in a dark room ?

He shouldn't have been offered one in the last year of his contract. We've left ourselves with no leverage in the negotiations. The club could have done more in this situation.

No one expected him to break through the way he has

Anyway, if he stays great, he not, get our few mil and be gone, we win some we lose some. i guarantee he wont have as good a career away from us as if he was to stay on
