Well on the contrary, its being twisted to be Bobbys fault.

Fact is Everton have offered him a huge deal considering his experience. He has come on leaps and bounds under Martinez.
I think it is absolutely Martinez fault. It's all well and good offering him all these promises, but when he isn't even getting all that much game time when he should be, and when he's dropped after putting in a great performance, for a half fit baines.. why would you blame him to leave?

Everything from game time, and the soundbites that martinez has given out in the press, it's his mess.

If he wants to leave and won't sign a new contract there's nothing the club can do. No point slating them.

He won't be playing over Leighton Baines any time soon, so there's nothing Martinez can do. No point slating him.

If he wants playing time and feels he won't get it here he's got to leave. Nothing Garbutt can do. No point slating him.

Why bother having a go at people when we don't fully know the situation and he's not playing because we've got arguably the league's best left back in front of him?

But he did get chances to play. There was the one game that Hibbert played LB (which I fumed like mad about) but the same week Garbutt played in the far more important away game versus Wolfsburg. Perhaps Martinez didn't think he could manage two tough games in a week?

When Baines was injured and Oviedo fit, Bry was chosen ahead of Luke but Oviedo has always played well when chosen and surely deserves his chance after patiently waiting for it?

We just seem to be in the odd situation of having three good players for one position.
And then he got dropped for a half fit baines right after playing fantastically, lad's a 21 year old physically fit lad, theres no way he couldn't play 2 games a week.

If martinez rates oviedo and baines ahead of him, then why should he stay? if other clubs recognise his talent and want him, why should he wait around to live off false promises that everton give out.

I can see it as just one of those things

Garbutt wants first team football

We cant offer that right away so have offered him a new contract with potential to go out on loan

I can understand both Garbutts reasoning for not signing and I understand Everton not jumping through hoops for him

People can't wrap their heads around the concept of a 21 year old football player wanting to play football. Either they declare their undying love for Ebepton or they're a judas scum bag who is only motivated by money

Also what odds are there of oviedo returning the same player after 2 bad injuries? Or baines at his age coming back from reconstruction surgery? Can see this massively biting us on the backside.

No mate, he's obviously just a kopite who wants more money
