I'd say he's off to the other side, as hasn't he just bought a house in Waterloo?

If he isn't staying seems a bit pointless

Look at people on here, absolute cry arse tits. He's leaving because our utter biff of a manager never had any plans to play him
Or maybe he's not even that good right now. He's overrated by some of our fans but there is no doubt that he could become a good player. Could be demanding too much for what he's contributing, or he might not want to play for Everton. Who knows.

Mad that. Watch him go on to play for England advert leaving us for free. He's every bit as good as Luke Shaw who joined United for thirty million. Joke of a club allowing him to go.

He's 3rd choice at Everton at the moment, he's not happy about it and has thrown his toys out after playing a couple of games. Sounds more like kopite behaviour to me..

didnt martinez play hibbo in the same fixture earlier in the season ahead of garbutt?

dont get me wrong its a poor decision imo but if it is the same team perhaps martinez has seen something in training that he thinks won't match up to the physical approach of wet spam, or perhaps we should forget the stinker garbutt had the other day when he made the kiddy fiddler look like a world beater.

Garbutt has clearly got potential but need to see it from both sides

No one is saying he's der best left back in der werld, because no one knows how good he is. He hasn't had enough games to show it, and he'll never ever get games while he's here barring an injury crisis. Which young player with their head screwed on would want to stay under those circumstances? Don't blame him one bit for leaving, and I wish him well wherever he goes. (He's obviously not going to Liverpool, before anyone starts)

absolutely don't blame him for wanting to leave with how we have treated him regarding game time.

Good luck to the lad, he's going to be smashing it in a few years. And we'll probably regret this one, unlike others he seemed to have really good talent and the ideal replacement for baines.

Shame on the club, how dare they offer a 21 kid whos played a handful of games tens of thousands per week.

Boo hiss, i demand we sell them other 2 superior LBs to make way

Yeah Oviedo is boss because he scored at Old Trafford and broke his leg once. Soz abar me, bring on the neg brigade, am I even arsed?

Far more complete LB than garbutt.

Its the norm with the likes of you lot to suddenly start writing off players who are away injured.

Few months ago people were saying sell mccarthy when he was injured, nut jobs

Or maybe he has said he was leaving all along and that is why Martinez didn't want to play him?

LOL

Always makes me laugh this thing people have with Dan Gosling.

If Luke Garbutt is allowed to leave for nothing, it will come back to haunt us, no two ways about it. Its clear for all to see that Garbutt is a gem in the making. The lad knows how to play footy and now just needs to add consistency to his game, which will come. In years to come it will be a massive regret in two ways.

1. Having a quality player at the club after spending nothing in terms of a fee, making the left back spot his own for years to come.

2. Not being able to sell him on bringing in a potential large fee.

Dan Gosling didn't do much when he was here if we are honest and when he left it was a shrug of the shoulders. Garbutt leaving will sting a bit.

Scored a winner against the [Poor language removed] in the fa cup, scored against united too in the same season. He also needed consistency like Garbutt. But potentially, I agree with you Garbutt is better than Gosling and I feel his departure will hurt us.

No i think he was pretty open minded about staying if he got game time at the right chances.

He's not getting a chance even when baines is properly crocked so why would you stay, he has no reason to if he's not made to feel wanted.
