Let's sign him up for 4yrs then loan him to Palace as they are looking for a Left Back. It would benefit both clubs plus Garbett

He knocks about with my cousin who's a good blue and has been open about him seeking a loan for the second half of the season then a new club on a free in the summer where he'll be a guaranteed starter.

So unless much changes over Christmas you can kiss your Garbutt bye bye.

He also knocks around with my Aunt's mate's cousin's son. And he reckons he's open about signing a new contract, and reckons your match previews are shabite.

Hope he stays.

Martinez should seriously consider playing him more regularly sooner rather than later though, Baines is quality and i'm sure it will come back but surely Garbutt could be tested to see if he is up to the job.

Anybody else think he should get Premier league chances now due to Baines' recent form? Recently I haven't seen much of Baines going forward recently and I think Luke Garbutt has showed his ability going forward in glimpses and his defending isn't half bad either. Maybe he will actually deliver some decent corners too...

I think baines not going forward is more down to the tactics.
He deserves a chance though.

Yes he should be given a game because all of our experienced players have turned to dog [Poor language removed] this season and if your out of form you should be dropped. Problem with that is that means

Howard
Coleman
Jagielka
Distin
Baines
Barry
Barkley

Should all be dropped indefinitely. Add to that Lukaku's indifferent form and no one likes to see Hibbert and Osman near the team ( if Hibbert was fit I would actually have him in the side now as he's been in situations like this before ).

Yes Martinez is making a balls up of this season but that's no excuse for 8 of your most senior players being nothing short of a disgrace to the shirt for the most part of the season. Do I think he has lost the dressing room? No. I think they are a gang of absolute [Poor language removed] houses who have lost there bottle. It's only them that can change it and make things turn for the better.

So yes, Garbutt deserves a chance 100% in my opinion mate.

Colemans coming back from injury and when in position barkley has been good.

Garbutt needs games now and I would put him left back or left wing now. He cant be left on bench and we need him on a long term contract.

Signing these flids up and not him or mirallas has been stupid

Barkleys had 2 decent games and a cameo performance away against City where he has been decent and apart from that he has been poor ( regardless of where he's playing position wise if your asked to do a job it's up to the player to do that ) and yes Coleman has been injured for the most part but that doesn't hide the fact he's out of form. Garbutt I would definitely make a priority when it comes to getting his signature down on a new contract. Mirallas, well if he thinks he's deserving of CL football and wants to swan off I've no problem with that as long as we sell now and get some dollar for him. Can't be arsed with any players who aren't committed to the cause. I like him by the way so would love him to sign, I just don't want his contract left with 12 months to run

All depends on the money I think and who we could bring in. Problem with Mirallas is that whilst hes top class hes injured a lot and we dont have any good wingers + he hasnt extended.

We need 3-4 wingers and have only him. We need 3-4 ball playing reliable centre backs and only have Stones + need a keeper.

Total disaster unless alot of smart changes are made.

I still wouldn't entertain the thought of selling him, not in January anyway. Have no faith at all we'd replace him with anyone better.

Baines played well against Stoke. However Garbutt could definitely do with more games especially if our league season becomes a bit mid table bore fest.

We need Kev for the EL as most of the wingers we can realistically get would be cup tied.

It's then up to him but a decision would have to be made.

Personally he's one of my favorite players and wouldn't want to see him sold.
