No but he has got the makings of a decent player

..he was up against a goodun’ and coped ok I thought. Got skinned a couple of times first half but stuck to his task. I have to admit to thinking this fella had gone backwards in the lower leagues but he did fine against very decent opposition.

I think Baines got skinned a couple of times against Burnley and he certainly found it an effort to get back after charging up the field.
