I like Garbutt but you'd think if he was gonna make it has been given more than enough time to show it.
Wow! Didn't realise how young that team was.

Good goal but I wonder how well he defended. His biggest shortcoming is his defending ,which is kind of unfortunate for a defender.
As ever on GOT you’ll get mixed views, I thought he defended ok , got nutmegged once , others didn’t . He was up against a tricky young winger and I thought did ok. It’s his attitude which has changed the most , now he looks like he’s up for it , working hard for the team .........Unsy that.

Can't play in PL or Europa but could play against Chelsea in League Cup and if we get out the group in Europe could add him as a club trained player!

This in a nutshell is exactly what annoys me about Koeman. We have the young players but there is a marked degree of reluctance to use them. Now look at that 84/85 team if Koeman had been the manager very few of them would have had a game or even a sniff of the bench.

It is quite clear to me the U23s must be doing something wrong, they are winning matches - how dare they!!!!!!!!!!

PS one hell of a free kick, no GK in the world would have stopped that, but according to some Garbutt is only average, not good enough - HHMMM

..he was up against a goodun’ and coped ok I thought. Got skinned a couple of times first half but stuck to his task. I have to admit to thinking this fella had gone backwards in the lower leagues but he did fine against very decent opposition.
