Given we have Martina there, it won't be that bad to give him one chance to prove if he is good enough at this level.

While I understand the shouts for a new left-back, I always then think we have Baines, Garbutt and Galloway.

I'd be happy if we signed a first-teamer LB on loan for six months, and then look again in the summer, while perhaps moving on one of Garbutt or Galloway. Baines gradually to be phased out next season.

You'd think so yeah. Which is why I think these rumours are nonsense.

But as far as I'm aware you can register and deregister players up to the 12 noon cut off point on the day before a match during transfer windows. So who knows.
