Best goalkeeping performance I've seen for Everton since Nigel Martyn 0-0 against RS time ago
Said this earlier... that performance from nige was perhaps even better... mind you two penalty saves ? I have never seen an Everton keeper do that

Are we still talking about Tom Fern? His positioning at times is suspect.
However, his reactions and ability to get across quickly usually make up for it.
He's proved himself as more than adequate for the time being - and considering how difficult it would be to get a quality goalkeeper half-way through the season - I have no issue with him as first choice, allowing us to bulk up other areas of the team first.
I imagine next summer the situation of a 'long term' goalkeeper will be addressed (well, it has to be, really).
Not surprised
You wait an age for a penalty save and 2 come at once
He's not been doing a lot of movement in the box recently, if so.Are we still talking about Tom Fern?
Yeah, so far this season he's been better than Robles over his purple patches the last couple of seasons and way better than Howard since Moyes second to last season if I remember rightly so long may it continue!Look, I know he's not everyone's first choice, and he isn't Big Nev (i.e. perfect), but he's been good.
I reckon it's a two way street too though the defence trust him and he trusts the defence. I know Stones will be a world class player one day but having Ashley Williams' no nonsense style rather than Stones' 'might give the ball away doing a step over' style in front of him must be nice. The defence seem to trust him. Must take some pressure off them and therefore help them play better. Jagielka didn't get the message with those stupid tackles though.
Didn't watch the game live, had updates and as soon as City equalised I just felt that "Winner is coming for them" Everton type feeling, nice not to be punished!

One would hope not....He's not been doing a lot of movement in the box recently, if so.
Would you have Robles over him? I wouldn't.
