A utility player is handy as we are pretty threadbare but we are down to the wire again and still no RB, Seamus gets injured and we are knackered again. AMN at least provides cover for two positions we are short in but we needed a RB who is a RB really.

I would imagine this would be the case with the added ability to cover other positions if needed. Just not convinced he’s particularly outstanding in any of his potential roles, but I suppose that’s what defines a utility player.

He’s not that bad. He’s another disciplined player who can understand tactical instructions and has the mobility to do a job. Give me players like this any day over the lot we’ve had the last 6 years or so who couldn’t do anything.

I'd prefer to see a loan with option to buy. Newcastle look to have done the right thing with Willock.

I can't recall too many Arsenal youngsters who've gone on to good things without really being prominent in their first team. They built up a bit of a myth around their academy/youth scouting during the Wenger years.

Circle, sniff and poke with sticks before commiting actual cash for a permanent move.
