That would be nationalization.

And what they really mean is "Don't punish Sky/BT Sport"

Two things there-one is the idea that they're ordinary players. Too many are absolute dirge. All well and good saying they need decent coaching but sometimes a player has to look at themselves and say are they really trying their best.

Secondly is, who would you get as manger. Realistically that is. Heard it too many times here with people saying get rid but never offering decent, realistic options.
Yes, no, and..... er, yes.

Agree that players need to accept personal responsibility, but the league has a number of teams with massively limited players performing to a higher standard that the sum of their parts (unlike our lot). If, in any organisation, the culture is slap dash or toxic, then it's the top banana's responsibility to sort it quick smart. (That's my yes and no).

Yes, I cant deny that I'm unable to say who should be brought in. That's down to my ignorance of football management. Still think it's reasonable when the ship is manifestly heading for the rocks, for even a navigationally challenged passenger to suggest a change of course and helmsman, even if they can't say exactly what it should be.

Someone should've given Dr Bruyne a kick after he studded Allan. You wouldn't have seen him again as he wouldn't have risked injury before next weekends fixture.

I don't want Everton players deliberately trying to injure the opposition but you have to let them know they're in a game. It just seems our players have no desire to win or professional pride.

Passive from the top of the club down.

When it looks like employees of the club don't care it does filter to the fans. I'm not even particularly 'cut' by today's result. I'm so used to seeing on field cowardice and disinterest. It's the norm.

I hope Ancelotti is backed with the players he so desperately needs in time for next season.

Today's performance and result epitomises everything about the footballing side of our Club. We're staggeringly limp, predictable, gutless and rudderless. We have zero identity and the connection with fans is diminishing at a rate of knots (as it is generally with football becoming an increasingly corporate affair). The whole season has been a foul stench. COVID, VAR and EFC....a heinous, toxic, stomach-churning cocktail of dross.

Yet that said, for the first time in over 50 years following the Blues, I can't even get angry or sick about it. Its become the norm, especially for Everton. Mr Moshiri is quite literally pumping his wealth into a steaming pit of faeces....he's either totally stupid or needs to lose cash and assets quickly and without recourse. I really don't get why after so much recent investment in terms of finances and managerial appointment we are still the slowest, dullest, softest, weakest and most technically-limited squad in the whole league. Everytime I try to rationally determine why we're so garbage it comes back to one thing.....LOSERS MENTALITY.

Thank Christ we've a few months off from Everton. What a sad statement to deliver when normally Everton is the driving passion in my life after family.
Today was like Martinez last game at Leicester - yes it's the mentality - how do we change it and come out fighting on the front foot again like teams of old even

I'm Koo-koo about Nkounkou so I gave it too him. Let's face it. He didn't do any actual damage.

He misplaced a few passes (that's how you can tell he's an Everton player) but his pace could surely have been utilised at times during the second half of the season.
