I think I was literally in tears at one point laughing.

Cannot remember exactly what was said but seem to remember @davek playing a part in the sarcasm.

Hilarious thread. Some people are way too serious

tell me about it. I make facetious jibes about us struggling with QPR (obviously tongue in cheek...or so I thought) and people neg rep you. Honestly, I always rated Evertonian general intelligence and discernment ...but some plonkers on this forum make me wonder !

To be fair, the way this team is playing could you not see them struggling against QPR? Leicester has 10 points. One of them came from us when we literally threw away 2 points because we decided to start this awful season of crap. Hell, QPR win and they are one point behind us ffs. This season is just fn awful any way you look at it...

As I've already stated, I take some positives from that performance. All that said, I do think it's time the lads in the stands rested, "The School of Science." In our current form, it sounds silly or deluded.

Watching MoTD this morning I'm not sure if the unanimous pundit view that we were robbed makes me feel better or worse. The same goes for seeing Sharpy's goal against the RS, when we were about to become the best team in Europe, Wembley was to become the team's (and my) second home, and the actions of the travelling RS's fans meant we were denied going on to dominate England and Europe for years to come :(

.....I keep saying we are at our best passing at pace in the top third, it's where any team struggles against us. That isn't happening of late and I think a lot has to do with the balance and shape of the team. Injuries have been a key factor but we are rarely getting around the back of teams.

Once we had to chase the game yesterday I thought RM missed a trick by not taking Hibbert off. Coleman is more of an attacking force from deep because opposition full backs also have a wide player to deal with. I'm also concerned that Mirallas on the left isn't a good fit with Baines. Baines links great with ticky tacky type and is so creative down that side. Mirallas is tremendous but give him the ball and he's very direct.

Other results went for us yesterday but we are at a crossroads as far as the league goes this season. We really need to put a run together and get wins against the teams around us in the 2nd half of the season. All's not lost.
