I hate Phil Neville.

Worst captain ever. He was never an 'Everton captain', he didint get us or the club 1 bit.

We paid him £18 million in wages!!!!!

In all those great Everton captains that was posted, which of them won the most honours? Phil Neville by a mile. He made a mistake with his top 10 comment but you can see what he was trying to say, he just failed in his delivery. He was great for the club during that era, but has now thankfully moved on. Don't get why people knee-jerk about Neville and try and make out like he was an awful footballer. Pretty impressive what he's achieved in his career considering how some view him on here.

We dont have to make him out to be a awful fotballer mate, he left us with ample occasions where we saw it with our own two eyes, trying to make out that cos he won a **** ton of trophies as a man utd backup means feck all, he won absolutely zero during his stint with us and thats all that matters to evertonians, feck vlad smicer and dudek won european cups does it make them better than steven and southall or even in the same orbit in terms of ability?

"You want to get out of Old Trafford alive, that was our saying." Moyes.

Last season's results at Old Trafford:

3-2 Fulham
4-0 Wigan
2-3 Spurs
4-2 Stoke
2-1 Arsenal
3-1 QPR
1-0 West Ham
3-1 Sunderland
4-3 Newcastle
2-0 West Brom
2-1 Liverpool
2-1 Southampton
2-0 Everton
4-0 Norwich
1-0 Reading
1-2 City
3-0 Villa
0-1 Chelsea
2-1 Swansea

Wins: Spurs, City, Chelsea
One goal defeats: Fulham, Arsenal, West Ham, Newcastle, Liverpool, Southampton, Reading, Swansea
Two goal defeats: Stoke, QPR, Sunderland, West Brom, Everton
Three goal defeats: Villa
Four goal defeats: Wigan, Norwich

Moyes' tactic seemed to be to hope for a goal through percentage football and to try to concede as few as possible. It's not much of a tactic really. Even Fulham, West Ham, Stoke, QPR, Sunderland, Reading and Swansea put up more of a fight than we did.
