It's a massive ask, but the clean sheet they got there a few weeks ago should give them a bit more confidence than they'd have otherwise.

Martinez is right about it being no-lose, and I hope that filters through to the players. If they win, great. If they don't, it's only the Mickey Mouse Cup. No reason to go out there feeling any undue pressure.

Aye no pressure at all, doesnt matter at all if we lose, there's only a free ticket to the EL to compete for like. /s

Let me tell you what is going to happen.

We'll get past City and set up a final against our ugly afterbirth.

In the final roared on by the massed legions of the blue faithful who of course will make it a home game for us we will rip the dodgiest defence in the league to shreds. We'll ship a comedic goal for effect and win 4-1.

You heard it here first.

Wouldn't mind seeing Pienaar given a start on the left. Against Swansea he was chasing down their players (unlike most of the other team) and he started to rekindle that linkup with Baines. Just need Cleverley to stay out of their way as he was drifting over to the left far to often and bringing his marker with him, making it hard to move the ball about.

But we all know it will be Kone

I've been thinking, Everton don't do well in derbies or cup finals. Combine the two and what if we end up absolutely smashing the RS at Wembley. Rise for the biggest occasion in 20 years instead of choke?
