I've been thinking, Everton don't do well in derbies or cup finals. Combine the two and what if we end up absolutely smashing the RS at Wembley. Rise for the biggest occasion in 20 years instead of choke?

C'mon mate don't be like that. More of this needed in here...

@ijjysmithI really should know better, but I'm stupidly excited and nervous about this and feel like a teenager about to cop a proper feel / fingering for the first time ( soz mods ).

Wouldn't mind seeing Pienaar given a start on the left.

Disagree 100%. I thought he failed to give any protection to Baines in the league at City and against Swansea he produced not one shot, centre and lost possession loadsa. For my money, he has slowed up and his presence will encourage their full back to bomb up the line all the time. Pienaar flatters to deceive and is unathletic. I would play Cleverley wide left. Del Boy to be replaced by Lennon at 75 mins and lets hope mc Carthy is ready to go hard. And that Barkley supports Lukaku by staying upfield.

What worries me is if Mori is dropped; what encourages me is that Howard is not playing.

So you think a carling cup immortalises a manager too? Maybe we will have a statue built alongside Dixie's?
Whether or not we win this cup isn't the issue. It's the fact that a team with so much talent has consistently failed to produce the results
it's capable of for so long.

A brief lapse in form is one thing, but the manager must take responsibility for what's happening here and good results over the next week or so
are essential.

If we go out of this cup and fail to win both of our next two matches there can be no excuses.

Big big game for Bobby. Lose in any manner and I'll be really discouraged. Lose badly and I'm done. He's had enough time.

I wouldn't mind seeing pienaar on left to start.we need to look to score before parking the bus.him and baines on the left are a great attacking threat.maybe take him off later once we have that away goal.you can't sit back against City.
