When we were bad in the 80s and 90s, there used to be a religious guy stood every home game at the entrance to the Kippax at Maine Road with a 'the end is nigh' placard held aloft.

I think I should flog you each one of these outside your south stand entrance Saturday.... Or just bring a white flag and wave it instead;)

Something tells me you supported city before the Arabs came in.

So we are playing AWAY against the Title favourites who are in the Top 6

Let me just check my stats here.

OK. I'm staying away from Football results for a Weekend. Better for my sanity.

Lol. Yes mate. I cannot forget how badly MCFC were on the pitch and how badly ex chairman Peter Swales ran the club. Many people don't know that twice(once under Franny Lee) the club were very close to going into administration.

That was before we were reformed in September 2008 of course; )

Wonder how many undercover daily mail moles will be in with the lads on Saturday with their tape recorders running.

I can just see it now mate, we boo Sterling, cue one of the RS bells going on twitter/ RAWK (probably that RS bellend who accused us of the Hillsborough crap) after the game, and he says that one of his Everton 'mates' who was at the game told him that we were throwing loads of racial abuse at Sterling. They just love to make things up.

Fancy us to get something to be honest. I mean we'll spend large parts of the game under pressure, be constantly tested on the flanks for the usual cut back goal but I think we are capable of scoring a couple ourselves if we finish our chances.

Got to defend well. Got to break well. To have any chance.

City will undoubtedly have a lot of the ball and territory. However if, and it's massive IF, you can repel them defensively I think they give you a chance on the break. As long as you escape the inevitable, cynical foul that has become a trademark for all Guardiola teams.Fernandinho is a master at this and avoiding the yellow card.

Bernard, Walcott will have a job to do in both directions. They'll be key to keeping their full backs in check but also keeping them honest by being a threat in the opposite direction.

Big job on our hands to go to City and get anything. Big job on our hands just to give a good account of ourselves. However if we have aspirations of being a Top 6 side then we need to show it in games like this.

Anyone want Liverpool to beat United to keep us in with a shout at sixth? I dont but if both Manchester clubs win we are 5 points adrift of 5th place, logic says we need both Merseyside clubs to win, but does anything think that?

I never want Liverpool to beat anyone as you never hear the end of it-rather man utd beat liverpool every day of the week myself, but i do actually think they may beat man utd though-we have to start beating the chasing pack around us when we play them,as to many of them are to close to us

I’d like what’s best for our club, if that means them winning, so be it. Especially at this stage of the season. If you don’t want what’s best for your club, you’re not a supporter in my eyes.

David Silva probably out...that's good for us. Aguerro doubtful. Our usual team with everyone fit will give them more than a good game. If we can match or better the result that United achieve against the RS we keep up a strong challenge in the League.
