I’d like what’s best for our club, if that means them winning, so be it. Especially at this stage of the season. If you don’t want what’s best for your club, you’re not a supporter in my eyes.
Don't know why but I think United will get something from this game, United will be relatively fresh for this game having played a lot of reserves last night, might just be wishful thinking but I will not be surprised if United get a draw, at least.

A FEW LITTLE STATS THAT MAY SURPRISE SOME

# Among teams that have faced Man City at the Etihad on 10+ occasions in the Premier League, no side has avoided defeat in a higher percentage of their games than Everton (60% - 15 games, six defeats; the same as Liverpool).

# Under Pep Guardiola, Manchester City have conceded seven Premier League goals against Everton – against no other side have they shipped more.

# Since the start of last season, Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling has been directly involved in 26 goals in 21 Premier League home games (17 goals, 9 assists).

# In all competitions, Manchester City have won just two of their last seven games against Everton (D3 L2), managing only one clean sheet in this run (0-0 in January 2016).

# Everton have drawn each of their last three away games against Manchester City in the Premier League, with just four goals being scored in these meetings (two each).

# Without Richarlison’s eight league goals this season, Everton would be nine points worse off in the Premier League – no player has seen their goals be worth more points than the Brazilian forward (level with Aubameyang for Arsenal and Murray for Brighton).

# For all of Everton's struggles on the road this term they have never conceded more than twice in a single match
[Infact checking, the last day of last season at west ham was the last time we conceeded more than 2 in an away league game, then 5 at Arsenal in feb,and 4 away to spurs in jan-all the way back till november 2016-so we dont actually conceed to many its just we usually conceed every game-as only 3 clean sheet]

..... If the Everton that turned up away v Chelsea turns up at the Etihad tomorrow, we're more than capable of getting a point, if not more.

I wouldn't mind betting that Marco may set us up with three at the back and play Digne and Coleman as wing-backs. We've been a very good counter-attacking team away from home this season. Calvert-Lewin up top, with Richarlison, Gueye, Gomes, and Walcott. Siggy and Bernard on the bench to come on in the second half.

Not surprised by that one. We didn't lose many away to Manchester City in Moyes' time.

Not sure whether we will shut up shop and hope to snatch a point or go for it and try and catch them off guard. I hope it's the latter.
