I've stopped listening to his ramblings after games to be honest. He's right about the two games going on though...there's the one he sees and the one everyone else does.

Also, conceding soft goals is our standard.

van gaal says stolen victory, everton could have scored 2 etc,man utd were not great and everton barely broke sweat, barkley stayed on for 86 when he should have been off at ht at latest, its like martinez takes the players off that he thinks will win us the game at times,or at least set the chances up lol
Van Gaal is probably upset about the setpieces. You can see why he plays Fellaini so much when most United fans don't want him in the team.

LVH himself has just called said it himself - Utd were lucky and you can't disagree that we should have had at least one goal - with several good position wasted. I can only remember their goal as their only real chance?
Maybe but how many saves did De Gea make?

For all the Martinez bashing that goes on here atm (rightly), I´d would like to warn against the wave of Moyes-nostalgia that has emerged here recently. Moyes Evertons were terrible in away games against the best teams. Just look at our record at the Emirates and Old Trafford under our previous manager - it´s horrendous. If anything, this was a very Moyes-esque performance.

I don't detect this "Moyes nostalgia" of which you speak.

I know no one among the matchgoers I speak to and I am hard pushed to think of any posters on here who want Moyes back....at any price.

I will say one think in Bobby's favour.....at least when we go to OT under him I feel we can win the game.

I never got that feeling when Moyes was here.

Moyes is gone and he ain't coming back.

Forget about him and his awful record at the big away grounds.

We gave a much more imminent danger to deal with........a relegation scrap next season if Bobby us allowed to stay in charge.

Happy with the win, we didn't sparkle but got the goal we needed and kept you very quiet in open play. I was concerned looking at your lineup beforehand.
Belgium concerned if we actually had a manager. We've been absolute toss pretty much the whole season.

Annoyingly, we had many more clear cut chances than they did.

We were completely crap all over the pitch though, just that UTD created nothing.
