It's a football club owner by the looks of it. There is no way other club owners are going to agree to that game going ahead.

It wouldn't set a precedent to call matches off quite near to KO. It's only 8 am now.

I dont see a mid-morning announcement as tardy under the circumstances.

It's horrible, and football related, but todays games have to be played, not cancelled. Will matches scheduled in the next few days be postponed? I understand a mark of respect, but does it stop on Monday, or Wednesday, or when?

No need for any games to be canceled unless it involves Leicester. Plenty of ways to show respect towards those deceased. I doubt any players in our fixture today will personally have been affected by the tragedy - without trying to sound harsh. It'll go ahead, and rightly so. It will not be cancelled Dave. As others have mentioned, these decisions would have already been made if they were to be, but they wouldn't anyway.
