It's horrible, and football related, but todays games have to be played, not cancelled. Will matches scheduled in the next few days be postponed? I understand a mark of respect, but does it stop on Monday, or Wednesday, or when?
I'm not saying they should or shouldn't be cancelled. We know how the football industry works these days. They'll be sounding out whether there'd be criticism of them if the games were played. They worry about the "brand". That's what the major consideration would be. Alongside that I think club owners will look at it and think 'what if...?' and have a lot of sympathy for games to be cancelled.

We'll see.

Anyone know the nearest met stop to the away end at the ground? Train leaves Piccadilly just after 20 to 7 so will need to get off straight away

Don't know if I'm confident or not - feel both teams are such an unknown package at the moment?

Would take 1-1 but hope for 0-2 Richarlison and Lookman

If they're worried about the 'brand' and that's their main consideration, I see no reason to call off todays games. And club owners won't be giving any thought to the possibility of a similar thing happening to them. It's just so unlikely.

Old Trafford is the closest but you've also got Trafford Bar, Exchange Quay or Pomona nearby. The last is hit and miss though from memory so I'd look at the others.

Just a word of wisdom: if you're travelling by tram then keep your voice down as there's some absolute beauts who use it and who usually look for a bit of trouble.

I've travelled all over with Everton and there's been some shady places, but I always find OT one with a deep-undercurrent of trouble.

Same team as palace. Except Walcott out for lookman. I’d give him his chance to start. Sub him after 65mins if ineffective

I'd give him one more game tbh, lookman has made one cross, not enough to say he should be starting. But I have a feeling silva may start him you know.

Chelsea supporters will be on their way to Burnley, so, if they were going to postpone todays matches they
would have said so by now.
