Thought we played alright there tonight, unlucky not to get anything out of it.

Gray MOTM for me, Godfrey looked good in spells as well.

We played better but we still lost in the cup. Only the league now. No excuses.
AS someone said earlier it would be hard on Lampard to be sacked after that. He will be here for Southampton

Well it wouldn't be harsh. We've only 4 games across 3 competitions, 1 of which was against league 1 opposition.

Its catastrophic. I feel embarrassed for him.

I will back him until he's gone and hope he somehow defies logic and turns this around, but he deserves the sack. The statistics are horrific.

Ref was fairly poor tonight. Luke Shaw came through the back of Maupay twice and Gray (I think it was) once and didnt get booked.

No absolute clangers but same old same old.

Thought they both played well tonight actually.

I would take Osman and Fellaini purely because they offer us more going forward.

You never get an effort on goal from either of them, technically gifted players create shooting opportunities like Fernandez and Rashford do.

Tbh mate we are now gona be camped outside any teams box. 99% of this forum has been telling lampard to play that way.

Not about being camped on the box. No issue playing counter attack but have to have more creativity and ability to score.

Is what it is. We wouldn’t win it anyway so not remotely arsed about the result

Losing Iwobi we really lost our attacking brain.

Praying it's a sprained ankle.

May not be the most skilful player but Doucore drove us forward from the moment he came on thought he was superb.Get him in the starting 11 next game whether Iwobi or any of the other midfielders are fit.Also thought Gray was class.

That was much better- but there is the eternal Everton problem. Raising themselves and fighting in a tough away game, like they did at City, but then don’t turn up for winnable home games.
Today showed how much we missed Onana in the week- someone willing to try something in midfield and covers a lot of ground.

Totally agree. We worked hard, unlucky with the VAR decision, tho by the rules it’s offside. Can’t fault them for effort.

Yep. Ref never gives that for us. Couldn't wait to give it to them. And once he had, it was never getting overturned. So kin frustrating.

Thinking about the game.a bit now, utd really didnt press us a lot, let us uave the ball presuming we wouldn't create a lot. I think we did well and maybe enough to get a draw transitioning quickly.
