First game I've been all season, I thought we played well considering recent form. Gray was quality, 5 at the back is the way forward. With iwobi out is it worth take Alli back?

We need someone who can provide the goals and get a few though, I don't think doucoure is good enough to do those. I personally think we should be working on getting Alli back with us, he has the quality in his locker if we can get him playing back to his best again

He aint has no interest in football anymore is why the club sent him out on loan and why they want to send him back

How many times did Maupay make a run to be totally ignored ,I was counting and it was at least ten,they just ignore him especially Gray .He should be sold as he is useless in this team. That however is the manager's fault surely .

Fail to see where your coming from on this one unless it's another manager dig.

Grays end product other than the odd worldie has been debatable at times since he arrived. Maupay signing I've no idea why we even bothered clear panic buy to try and bolster the team.

Let's hope we can get Cl or Simms firing hopefully the latter as Mr Chocolate legs will be back out injured

Everyone rightly talks about no replacing Richarlison.

I don’t see many asking where is the replacements for Roridguez and Sigurddsson.

What’s the point of forwards if we don’t have enough creativity?

This - You can have the best forward in the game but if the ball doesn't get into dangerous areas it's a pointless endeavour.

We either dilly-dally with the ball and waste any runs in behind or get the ball into those areas with nobody attacking the space. The occasional time a lightbulb switched on and we did these absolute basics it caused problems.

Very impressive display there. We need to build on that performance and the players put in that desire for the rest of the season. I thought Maupay aside, they all worked extremely hard and Doucoure looked a different player when he came on. Needs to find consistency.

I even thought McNeil worked harder than usual and gave us something tonight.

Gray was outstanding, they couldn't live with him.

Let's face it United gave us the freedom of the pitch until they tightened it up with the subs late on.

Exactly. Although defence is obviously important, I've mentioned before that if the match scoreline is inevitably gonna read, 'Everton 1', or, 'Everton 0', then you'd need a superhuman level of defence to acquire an acceptable number of points. We aren't Inter Milan of the 1960s, so some serious improvement to our attack is desperately, desperately, needed.
