I look at City and I really wonder if they were a better team without Haaland.
I know that sounds ridiculous but we had a Situation in 86 when we were champions then we brought in Lineker who scored 40 goals.
We won nothing that year the whole game plan changed as it was all about getting the ball to him.

Another example here of a big team getting a bizarre call.

How’s that goal been allowed? He’s clearly interfering with play, and impacts the City defenders judgement.

Corrupt, as anything.nO
No more corrupt than the Rhodri handball that gave city the wqin at your place last april and could have sent you down , without that decision they would not have won the title

Levels of inconsistency mate.

The last two weeks have shown two clearly offside goals given which have impacted games.

That handball was a disgrace too, but naturally, we’re not deemed a “big” team.

I think to be honest i accept that the big teams have always got more calls in their favour myself as a United fan that the equaliser yesterday was offside but theses daft rules the rules are a farce , and VAR has made things worse

I really think they've got worse, don't know if it's down to him though.

Hard to blame a guy with 20 odd goals in January.

I feel like it’s sour grapes, but genuinely just another step in the frustration I have with “Elite” football.

It’s not your fault, you’ve not done anything wrong. But it feels like you’re treated as a superior “asset”, and it reflects in the decisions you get. More fans, more exposure, more revenue.

VAR was a big part for me, they pick and choose the rules when they want. I’m certain if it happened in a game involving Fulham-Bournemouth it would be ruled out.

yeah no pumping no offence ;););) so yeah rashford was probably offside but ABU brigade seething i see , but if i remember did the oil rig and rhodri get away with a blatant handball at your place which effectively game them the title by a point and could have sent your mob down, i think plenty of times decisions go against us but nobody bothers lol , hated adored never egnored ha ha

Noone gives two craps about how unjust one call is when you've had 25 years of getting away with it. You're on here crowing about blatant cheating to get a win like you've been so hard done by. Try supporting this team, you wouldn't last 5 minutes let alone the thirty years we've been put through the absolute wringer.

City can't be allowed to walk the league every year. Happened when Liverpool won the league and will happen with Arsenal now. Officials will do whatever it takes to protect the 'brand'

I mean, I’ve seen enough evidence to fully believe this, but I can’t blame the Premier League for City losing to Southampton and drawing with us, I just think they’re going through a poor patch and Arsenal seem to masters of unspectacular, but efficient wins.

That quote always stays with me. That was the season Liverpool and City went on an insane run, and City won the league at Brighton… on the last day, with multiple trophies in operation.

Liverpool got some very, very questionable decisions that season, City did to a lesser degree.

The league is the most popular and there’s not a chance a billion pound corporation doesn’t have some degree of “control”.
