Always rated Rashford but he was going down the welbeck route rapidly. He's some player. I'd like to see him at Real or Barca. I reckon he would destroy it over there.

who ever wins this bid, is going to give an incentive to the loser, should it be between Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

So you may well find that what follows here is only the tip of the iceberg.

Why would he leave his boyhood club to go abroad? English players never work out in La liga. Look at michael owen, Beckham, jonathan woodgate... Lineker you could argue was the only real successful Englishman in La Liga. Rashford is beloved at united and is becoming a rapid superstar. Hes only 25 and has about 6 years of prime football years in him.

Dont understand buying Utd for £5 billion when you could buy an Everton/Leicester/West Ham for £500-800 millions and spend £500 millions in transfer fees/doped sponsorships and have a CL challenging club for a fraction of the price.

Buying Prestige etc isn't it. The brand, the name... You can buy a kit car and soup it up to be as fast as a Ferrari and handle as well as a Ferrari but it's still not a Ferrari.

True but typically these despot regimes often want a success story (sportswashing) in building a club up - City, PSG, Newcastle.

Utd is a weird one as already a brand name and will cost a fortune to buy.

I'm glad it's United that look to be getting this buy out not Liverpool, they say they wouldn't want state owners but if the offers there and they turned themselves around they would welcome it
