Get me talking about my political beliefs and it's guaranteed that for a day or two (a day or two TX? Ha ha) that I'm the least popular Everton supporter on this board.

You'd think I'd have learned to keep my mouth shut by now but no.
 

I dont hate him, i just think it was arse the way he signed for Valencia instead of us, yes maybe they are a "bigger" team to him, but was still proper shithouse trick what he did.

Ok, i lie, i hate him. :(

No one has the facts when it comes to the Fernandes/Everton/Valencia situation, it was very complicated.

The easy thing to do was blame Fernandes though, that's what alot of Evertonians resorted to despite the fact that Alan Irvine openly admitted that the deal couldn't be done and Fernandes wanted to come here.
 
Don't particularly feel either way inclined regarding Fernandes, but it really bothers me that people are unwilling to let it go that he's playing elsewhere.

We had him on loan and were too cheap to stump up whatever Valencia did for him, then were lucky to get him in on loan again - but that's it, I'm sure plenty of clubs would love to keep players they get in on loan, but that's not what the system's there for and after Valencia forked out 12m+ and signed him to a 6 year contract, it was never even nearly a possibility.

About as much point in pining over Fernandes as there is in moaning about selling Rooney or Dunne or wishing that Southall was 20 years younger - no point at all.

Because i really,really,really don't like him. So it becomes hate! Their must be players out their you hate? Gerrard,Carra,Ronaldo,Rooney etc. I hate Fernandes.

What makes me laugh is that you can't get over the fact that people dislike him so much. He's just a bad snide, plus he's not even that good.

I can't get over it, that's one of the most bitter posts I've ever seen.:lol:

I was asking you if you had a reason for disliking him which is fair enough. If I hate somone there's usually a reason for it.

Maradona? That's where you go way over the top again. I saw very good potential in Fernandes, I thought Moyes could get him putting in consistent performances and improve him like he's done with other players.

He's only 22, lots of time to improve and get better. You've admitted yourself that he's a very talented lad.
 
Manny is a very good player but the thing with midfield is you have to find the right balance so far this season we havent, and i dont car what anyone say Lee Carsley was the Yang to a lot of our Ying. His miss is dreadfull loss as much as id like to see Manny return at a point i would prefer somone to come and at least balance the midfeild out, it seems Moyes for some reason feels that Cas at this point in his career isnt up to the task, or isnt ready.

We need a CArs mark 2 rather then a manny stle player as much as i am a fanof the guy!
