Manny HATERS!

Manny is a very good player but the thing with midfield is you have to find the right balance so far this season we havent, and i dont car what anyone say Lee Carsley was the Yang to a lot of our Ying. His miss is dreadfull loss as much as id like to see Manny return at a point i would prefer somone to come and at least balance the midfeild out, it seems Moyes for some reason feels that Cas at this point in his career isnt up to the task, or isnt ready.

We need a CArs mark 2 rather then a manny stle player as much as i am a fanof the guy!

I agree with that, I wasn't the biggest fan of Carsley but you can see we lack a ball winner and we lack balance. He offered that when he was here.

I think we need both to be honest, a ball winner and a play maker. We still lack someone who can control possession in the middle aswell. Osman does a decent job but we need someone better.

If it was a choice between Fernandes and Carsley or Fellaini and Castillo I'd pick the first two every time to be honest.

I can't get over it, that's one of the most bitter posts I've ever seen.

I was asking you if you had a reason for disliking him which is fair enough. If I hate somone there's usually a reason for it.

Maradona? That's where you go way over the top again. I saw very good potential in Fernandes, I thought Moyes could get him putting in consistent performances and improve him like he's done with other players.

He's only 22, lots of time to improve and get better. You've admitted yourself that he's a very talented lad.

Im a blue....expect bitter!!

I think he is talented, but so was gazza. An what a waste he was. I used to see things Graverson would do, skill, drive determination. But he still was never good enough. Fernandes falls into the same box for me. I do think he's far more suited to the spanich league thou. Plenty more time on the ball an gets away with his daft flicks more. he would never have made it in England.

Anyhoo....this is a manny hate thread.

So [Poor language removed] back to the lick his bum thread....:lol::lol:

p.s hope you get im takin the piss a little with the 2 lines above tb.

Gravesen was 28 though, completely different to Fernandes who is still very young and can improve on his deficiencies. That's what you fail to recongnize, no one is the finished product at that age.

He'll come back to England and make it, I have no doubts about that.(y)

Michael Jackson is a talented lad, it doesn't mean I want him in my midfield.

If the lad is sooo talented why haven't the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, United or Man City go in for him yet then?

You'd think Big Phil would know what Fernandes is all about yet he couldn't get into the Portugal first team with him at the helm if he is the dog's bollocks how come Scolari who is arguably one of the best managers in the world. Clearly doesn't rate him.

Because he's not at that level yet, they have better players. I've never said any differently. Does that mean he's not got alot of potential, not at all.

Fernandes is starring for Valencia mate, the best team in Spain at the moment.(y)

Spanish football is a completely different game to the Premiership and I think you know that. He doesn't get the time on the ball here that he would in Spain.

The way you harp on about Fernandes you'd think he'd be able to pip Raul Meireles to a spot in the senior squad... surely he's just as talented as Joao Moutinho who is about the same age as Fernandes.

Well how do you know he ever will be!! Your guess is as good as our's. I say he wont, not a chance. But you think he'll be a world beater.

Fact is at the moment, he's not all that!!

Also, Everton can't afford to splash the cash on someone that is unproven... He's done well in fits and spurts in the Premiership but he's never done it consistantly.

I think Fellini is our boy here mate i really do, hes not the player he is going to be yet but the sign praticularly against Newcastle were good and at 20 now hel go far. His use of space and showing for the ball was significantly better and hes a big lump of a nuisence, what i liked that when he was on the ball he found his man very well simply. Thats the name of the game, i think he has more in his licker as he showed some cutting balls and vision in the derby but think Moyes told him to keep it simpe for the Newcastle game. He needs more coaching and adjustment and some work on his overall fittness but for Raw potential i think we have a good one here.

Im a confirmed Manny fan, but not all misty eyed he could do something that would infureate you or make ridiculous attemps to pass, that said quality wins you games. The balance isnt right. But Fellini for me is an excellent addition for the future i rate him highly on the raw talent and potential hes developed, ok its not wholly visable but if your into spotting potential its there in abundance. Roy Keane became a legend playing exactly the same way as Fellini does, now im not saying that hes of the standard Keane was in his pomp but i followed Keanes progress since he was 17 and there ability and potential are about level when Keane was 20 as Fellini's is now, i know alot will say that Fellini isnt a DM midfileder but neither was Keane when you study his game he just understood the game so well and set the of tone of Utds game and kept them ticking he was more box to box as i beleive Fellini will be for us.

Ha ha like i say a DM before Manny!

Joao Moutinho is better, he's probably the best centre midfielder coming through in Portugal at the moment. I've never denied that, I quite clearly stated in the summer that I'd have Moutinho over him any day of the week.

I rate Fernandes, I think both technically and physically he's got alot going for him. He will be a very good player, I have no doubts about that. Is he the finished article? Not at all, he's still got things he needs to work on. Concentration being one of them.

Fernandes isn't in the Portugal squad because last season he hardly played compared to other people and it's quite clear due to a number of things that the didn't show any consistency. He didn't deserve to be in.

Once he gets a run of games for Valencia and keeps up his good form he'll be in and around the squad. He was in the last squad.

I really do like this boy Fellaini, an i don't like easy. Theirs just somthing i see in him, that makes me think he's got it.

If it was either Fellaini of Fernandes......no contest!!
