We’re meant to be an ambitious club. Someone has to bear the brunt of this season and it should be this fella. Iwobi, Delph, Kean, etc. He’s an utter clown.

When clubs like Burnley are finishing above you, something is seriously wrong.

Agreed. The write down on Delph and Iwobi alone of you tried to sell them in this window should be enough to have him sacked. Let alone the zero progress he has made on the youth coaches (zero) and winning culture at the club (absolute zero).

It's the easy question - if he left tomorrow, would anyone notice (apart from our auditors as they'd get £6m p/a more in the accounts)? No, not really.

14m p/a.

We signed DCL in 2016 from then League 1, Sheffield United. Fast forward four years, via 100's of millions and a couple of recruitment gurus at Everton and Sheff Utd are ahead of us in the PL.

Bad luck Dom.
Brands needs to make a statement at the end of the season and explain why his plan for the club has seen us regress 4 places behind last season’s equally disappointing finish.

I'm not an advocate of further instability but Brands has been found out at this level. He has done no better than Walsh.

Perhaps too many people are involved in transfers but the DOF model has been an unmitigated disaster for us.

Brands is not going anywhere but he has been as bad as anyone that Moshiri has sacked previously.

Even with difficult circumstances, I would find it hard to accept that a bottom half finish below Burnley and Sheff Utd after two years in the job can ever be justified or is excusable in any way.
