Hes only had 2 summers...

Im most disappointed in the lack of any growth in the u23s and below...its bizarre. That was his focus in Holland.

Id say that these things take time...and also the best DOFs building from scratch are only noticed after 5 years really...

Id say this summer is absolutely crucial.

Iwobi and Delph for me.

Branthwaite is a find though and im expecting big things from; Holgate, Digne, Nkounkou, Gordon, Kean, DCL and Richarlison next season.

Gbamin sadly looks done for.

Important to remember how bad our squad was when he came. Lets see how he does this summer.



The Lille DOF seems like a mastermind but theyve got FFP issues apparently. Even Real are struggling on FFP so their DOF isnt doing a good job and the chap at Barca seems awful.

Hard to find a successful match.

I think it will help having Ancelotti.
 

I think part of Brands' problem is lack of consistency caused by the raft of managers in and out of the door. If carlo is here in two years, then judge him when he has had a stable footing to his job! We always think the players are unsettled by managerial changes, why not others?

We need stability.

We have players that Moyes, Martinez, Koeman, Big Sam and Silva bought all rocking around the squad.

I mean building stability with a 61 year old manager who will likely spew it all after a year is a risk, but still.

He’s made the squad worse. He has not improved us in the two years he has been here.

He doesn’t deserve any more chances. Get him out.

Perhaps too many people are involved in transfers but the DOF model has been an unmitigated disaster for us.

Brands is not going anywhere but he has been as bad as anyone that Moshiri has sacked previously.

Even with difficult circumstances, I would find it hard to accept that a bottom half finish below Burnley and Sheff Utd after two years in the job can ever be justified or is excusable in any way.

I think we have to be hopeful now Carlo is here, he can guide Brands this summer in the quality threshold required for players at this level of football.

Brands in lucky Carlo is here and has massive expierence of what is required at top level football. Hopefully Brands learns, wonderful opportunity for him.
 
Think.brands has done ok tbh. Mainly good players in,. Some the jury is still out like Iwobi, mina. Delph is the worse but prob worth a gamble. Reduced the age of the squad. Got a decent nucleus DCL Richo holgate digne. Like the look of Gordon and branthwaite.
Big summer for brands though hopefully get the right players in and improve the team

Has started to get rid of the rubbish in the team. McCarthy lookman(who) for good money.
Here's hoping he gets this summer right
