In talks isn’t the same as signing though BT, we’ve been negotiating for what 2-3 weeks with Napoli, lowballed Watford and nothing further has come out about Arias since King reported it earlier in week

But that isn't the same as leaving it until deadline day, is it mate?

Not looking for an argument. We definitely will do some deals later in the window. But we do appear to be working on getting players in now. Yes, we need to be quicker. I'm not disputing that. But it really doesn't mean we're leaving it all until October 5th.

Having that key midfielder in before the season starts is key then hopefully we can add more before the window shuts. But if you aren't concerned you obviously don't see the pattern of bringing in players late followed by poor starts from us every year and the dreadful lockdown performances. I hope you are right about the three players but I am not banking on it with this club. No more excuses.

Because we're skimping over money on all 3 of them, so it'll play out til deadline.

Hopefully these two save us £££ in the next 2-3 years. If Brands can do this with 3-4 more then he will more than earned his reputation.

Bit hit and miss with the for now players, but his 2 young purchases for buttons are what we are desperate for.
