No idea idea why Brands just doesn't appoint a new manager of Liverpool FC called King KennyStinksofPiss and throw in a £80m joint bid for Williams and Bolasie....

takes time to build what is effectively going to be an entire new team - can only see Pickford, Coleman, and Walcott being the survivors in the next 2 transfer windows

Can you sign up for gap insurance though, in case the player gets injured or turns out to be crap?

Could've done with that for Keane, Bolasie, klaassen, Sandro etc.

The current side is a shambles.

IF and it is a hypothetical if, Pickford and Lookman where to leave for say £100m combined, would that give us the maneuverability in the market to bring in the players to suit a new system?

This team needs major surgery all over the pitch and I would imagine FFP, with so many useless lumps picking up big wages here, will scupper that.
Only the goalkeeper is of the required quality and he might be sacrificed in order to get this club functioning on the pitch.

As well as attempting to complete deals for first team players, Brands has been speaking to several Portuguese and French clubs regarding bringing in young players with the potential to become 1st team players in the next couple of years as part of the streamlining process within the club.

Hopefully he can work some magic and bring in João Felix for starters (tongue in cheek there!)
