Anyone can shift anyone else if the will is there.

Well of course. If the player has the will to take a drop in wages, or if the buying club has the will to continue to pay sky high wages for an average player.

You work out the likelihood of that.

Everton pretty much do this right now by paying some of the loaned players wages; it's only a small shift in method to effectively hand an interested club a virtual couple of years wages to take a player off our hands in return for a reduced fee.

dave chats some absolute nonsense but it gets played off as being some sort of master troll, I actually think he just believes the nonsense he types.
Makes it sound like getting rid of Niasse and co some sort of walk in the park.

Ok, lets use the Sandro example, cos hes the most glaring.

Hes reported to be earning 105k a week, wages no other club in the world will match.

So how do we go about "effectively hand an interested club a virtual couple of years wages to take a player off our hands in return for some reduced fee.".

You have the floor Dave, show us where Brands is going wrong.

If that is too difficult for you, please feel free to show your working out on any other player, please do not use players still at the club, use examples like Sandro.

Cant get my head round that.

So take Morgs. circa £6m a year wages, 2 years left. (Might be more or less, dont know)

So we pay Southampton £12m, and they pay us £3m? So we pay £9m to get him off the books?

Not sure how that all works out re accounts and that stuff.

Not a dig, honestly not sure if that actually ever happens.

Laughing at this: you nicely avoid dealing with the elephant in your particular drawing room: your former hero Besic on about £25K pw (not a bad player in all honesty), we paid buttons for him relatively speaking: how on earth is Mr Photo-op failing to get shut of him for two summers running?
