Highlights of it. There is a massive difference.

He's a fair weather media-type. Doing victory rolls all over the shop last summer; this summer he was a recluse.

Heres how you did it dave :

1. Say something Brands
Brands says something
2. Stop undermining the manager and shut up Brands
Brands then says nothing
3. Why isnt he saying something

Its utterly pathetic.

TBF, if he did what he's supposed to do I wouldn't want to see or hear him. But seeing as he hasn't and has left us exposed all over the pitch after spending £200M since arriving here I would like to hear what the plan is.

You say that you agree Brands messed up but you expect Silva to simply shift systems to make up for it. It doesn't work like that though does it?

Who are the middle 3 we play with, btw, to make the forwards play better?

I expect Silva to have the common sense not to play this way. For one, it's stale. Two, it's predictable and narrows our options down while also taking our best players out of the equation.

We don't need to do it. We have enough quality in the centre to play through the middle. Stop playing two holding midfielders and let's start dominating matches with some cutting edge.

I'm not speaking about last night here. You can't do that against City and not get hammered. But against Burnley we need to be doing more. And Silva needs to be doing better.

Its not even close to 200m.

Funny how you only use NET spend when your ripping into Moshiri.

The lad was injured, but has gone on to be a good signing. Should we not have signed him?

Now you’re calling Gbamin a poor signing when he’s injured and hasn’t played.
Gomes: I've seen better, I've seen worse.

Gbamin looks like a bad call on a player who must have been carrying injuries with him. I doubt Moyes would have pursued that option.

TBH, I think we have a very poor set of midfielders to choose from....to add to our woes.

We're in terrible shape given Brands has spent £200M in two windows.

He signs too many players and compromises quality for quantity.

He also signs players on deadline day which suggests panic. And he also seems to sign a heck of a lot of players carrying injuries. It makes little sense to me.

Your point on Gomes is so bland as to be obviously true. I could say the same about pretty much any player on the planet. I only brought him up as you classed him as a good signing in your OP.

You’ve got no evidence that Gbamin was carrying an injury, you’ve just made that up. He just got injured. It happens. Fact that we’ve only seen him for 135 mins and you’ve already made your judgement on him, shows that you’re more keen to use him as criticism against Brands, rather than give lad a chance to prove himself.
