Couldn't agree more. Could have had the likes of Neres or Lozano for cheaper, would have been less of a risk. Those guys have performed on the international stage against top quality competition, this fella has been an Arsenal reserve who couldn't be sold quick enough once we got desperate.

Neres signed a 4 year contract with Ajax 2 days after returning from the Copa America. So he couldn't have had him, could he?

What does Brands gain from this arrangement?

A look at his work at PSV would seem to disprove that theory too. He was signing players from everywhere...

He's the definition of medicrity mate. But that is Brands' template: sign young players from 'elite' clubs who are not wanted by them and HOPE it turns out ok for them here.

Its cost us £250M so far.

Digne, Richarlison, Gomes, Bernard all decent signings.

Not a chance that's Delph's fault, really weird to suggest it is to be honest. You only need to look at Iwobi's reaction to see that he knew full well he'd messed up. It doesn't mean he's an awful player but let's not pretend he's perfect because he's a hell of a long way from that.
