Really? They weren't great, but I think Allardyce's team had much more about it. This lot are mentally weak and bang average talent-wise. Which indicates to me there's been no due diligence.
Sidibe was booking and also the weak link that game, he would of got sent offAllardyce's team was absolutely disgusting. We were bottom or close to it for virtually every single metric that a good team bases itself on - possession, short passes, chances created - you name it.
Silva doesn't have an abundance of quality at his disposal, especially given our injuries, but he should have us comfortable in the top half given the fixtures we've had. Allardyce had Cuco Martina as his left back, Silva has Lucas Digne. It's really not even close.
Sometimes you only need one moment to decide that a guy has absolutely lost the plot - substituting Sidibe off for Coleman at the weekend was that moment for Silva. The bloke is just awful, an no matter what you say about Brands that level of incompetence in our dugout just can't be excused.

Don't disagree with your overall assessment but honestly, I don't have any problem with that sub on Saturday. It looks like a weird thing to do on paper and i'm positive he wouldn't have chosen to do it ordinarily, but Sidibe was absolutely killing us. He was Cuco levels of bad, and that isn't something I say lightly.Allardyce's team was absolutely disgusting. Literally can’t believe this guy is responsible for how crap we’ve been for three decades, signing Fabian Delph, Global Warming and the Wall Street crash of 1929. What a clown would never have happened under Steve Walsh.
Maybe. Maybe Brands is the easier dismissal?
Let's put it this way: Moshiri will be looking at the spending on Brands watch and wondering where the friggin hell its gone. Brands is not indispensable...not by a long chalk.
Cheaper in the long run. He's already cost the club £250m in tat.Brands is on the board. They have to buy him out.

Digne is an oasis in a desert of mediocrity.Digne is worth £300m so your figures are way out.
Had he also used the approximate £10m we got from a certain player sale correctly instead of making it just disappear the entire crash could’ve been prevented. Dutch clown. One line from that crash which points the finger firmly at Brands for all this is "steel production declined, construction was sluggish, automobile sales went down"
Had Brands sorted the stadium out back then and bought more lawnmowers it was essentially preventable.
