I'm really happy about this part.

For the money they wanted same here, but he still left it too late to get them or an alternative

West Ham haven't finished in the top half for the last three years - 10th, 13th, 11th respectively. Their fans did not realistically expect to challenge the top six.

We've finished 8th, 8th (3 & 5 points off Europe respectively) and 7th in the last 3 years. In those 3 years, we've outspent most clubs in world Football - £200m net spend.

In those 3 years, we've spent more than 2.5 times what Leicester spent across the same period, more than most teams in the league. It's fair to say that, given that investment, we should be a lot closer to the top six than we are right now.

That's not all Silva's fault, is it mate?

Keiran, I have literally just posted a link with the net spends during the past 2 years up pal and we are about 10th in the league, Leicester have spent what they have because they HAVE a spine of a very good team ALREADY and they just got 80m for that lump maguire

Schmecial ndidi and vardy have been there years are 3 of their best players

we are not closer to leciester and co because we have a terrible manager who isn't getting enough out of the squad he has available

We spent ~£195m to West Ham's ~£155m since Brands arrived. Whether we finished higher than them last season or the season before means nothing considering neither team finished in the Top 6. We fall into a group of teams including them.

Considering this squad + Gana finished 8th and are now touching cloth with the relegation zone yes, we can point the finger at Silva.

Be amazing if people could accept that there might just be a possibility that there's more than one issue with this 'project' of ours. But no, sack the manager and we'll suddenly be amazing, winning every game. We'll find out soon enough won't we, wonder what excuses people will find for it if they're wrong.

Blame the next manager.

Obviously.

In a 20 team league 10th is the top half.

We've finished above Leicester in each of the last 3 years. 12th, 9th and 9th for them. 8th, 8th and 7th for us.

We have spent a fortune under Brands and not moved forward. Has to be some accountability there, surely?

we finished above Leicester yes and what have Leicester changed in recent times that has had a positive affect on there performance???

THE MANAGER

for the 3rd time, in general we haven't spent a fortune under brands we have spent the 10th most in the league since he's been here

hard work you la

Very true.

But if Brands is the all knowing oracle who can do no wrong, and he picks the manager, will people accept that he might have made a poor choice? Or will we decide it was Kenwright's choice if it doesn't work, and only Brands's choice if it does?

Depends who is appointed. So far, considering Silva wasn’t a Brands appointment, all you can judge him on are signings which have been stellar so far whilst trying to get rid of far too much dross.

So we change the manager and everything's sound, yeah?
