I think it was because Brands was on holiday till deadline day, where he successfully negotiated a deal for a player we were linked with a few months before; who can’t even get in the side.

On the face of it your correct, even below the first team we don't really have any signs of improvement since has been here, the odd good signing, but equally many bad ones, needs to up his game or move on.
