I think we could probably live without a Kean replacement given there was nothing there to replace this season. Would rather we went all out on the right side and midfielder

This summer he needs to finish off the 11 with 5 new players all under 25.

Next summer he has to be in a position where we just aim for 2 top quality players to take us up another level.

You throw a Grealish into this team and we'll drastically improve in areas but there will still be too many holes to plug.

Moshiri needs to unlock the purse strings £100mil + sales.

My issue with us always having lofty ambitions is how far away our squad is compared to the top 4 teams. They have consistently developed a pretty solid foundation to build upon with ample depth. Just look at Chelsea they were able to reach the top four with mostly academy products and then threw 200 million to cultivate their squad. For us it's like working on a project in your yard and finding half the materials are shoddy and you have restart time after time, that's us every season. Hopefully we can make some shrewd long term acquisitions we can add to in the future as consistancy is vital.

What? last year they had a transfer ban still finished in the top four and then added even further quality during this season. How do you compete with that without some savviness?
Edit.. mostly academy products is inaccurate but half the starting squad was youth products . The gist is they had a solid framework to work from
