….I suspect this appointment is within his job description but the appointment has been processed by those above his considerable pay grade. I doubt it’s anything to do with him being lazy, it’s about the owners doing what they want.

I agree with that- Moshiri will want to make the decisions, including procurement of players and managers and is quite happy to see Brands doing nothing (and probably ensures that he does)

People used to abuse BK for having a train set - this is actually worse because at least he listened to Moyes in terms of bringing in players.

No I’m sorry I don’t agree. And there are plenty of ‘if’s’ in your statements about Moshiri. The blokes an amateur meddler - end of.

Player recruitment was massively superior under Kenwright - if that meant he wasn’t interfering so be it. But more has been spent with less results under the new owner.
